We're on the Whova App

From the Malmö Live venue to the comfort of your own home, we want you to have the best ICLEI World Congress experience no matter where you are!

This award-winning app will provide you with the best and most interactive experience so you can enjoy the Malmö Summit to its fullest.

Connecting Participants: The Whova app will allow the participants to connect before and during the event. We handpicked features that enable the most networking opportunities for both in-person and virtual participants.

Facilitating your in-person experience: Participants will have access to all the information necessary and the latest updates on the Whova app!

Step 1: Download Whova

  1. NAVIGATE the event agenda and logistics, even without Wi-Fi or data. Access useful information like local attractions through the Community Board
  2. NETWORK effectively. Plan whom to meet by exploring attendee profiles and sending out messages
  3. PARTICIPATE in event activities through session likes, comments, ratings, live polling, tweeting, and more

Step 3: Set Up your Profile

Customize your page with the most relevant information for the summit.

Simply select the profile icon in the upper left-hand corner of the app home screen and press “Edit Profile”.

From there you can add:

  • Interests
  • Professional Background
  • Education
  • Profile photo
  • Short Bio

Remember: other attendees will use this to network with you. So make it look nice 🙂

Hint: People with good profiles make 3 times more connections.

To make the networking experience more sustainable, we encourage all participants to use the “Scan My Business Card” feature (Available ONLY on the Mobile App).
