The Malmö Summit

A Sustainable Event

Sustainability was at the core of The Malmö Summit. ICLEI and City of Malmö were committed to minimizing the negative environmental impact of the event as well as increasing our positive social impact in the community. The congress was environmentally certified according to the Swedish Environmental Base Standard (“Svensk Miljöbas”). But we also encouraged the attendees to help us by acting sustainably on a personal level. Together made this event both memorable and sustainable.
