Research Symposium

This Research Symposium, the 6th in ICLEI’s 32-year history brought together leading urban sustainability researchers, innovators, and city leaders from across the globe. The Malmö Summit: A Sustainable Event

Sustainability was at the core of The Malmö Summit. ICLEI and City of Malmö are committed to minimizing the negative environmental impact of the event as well as increasing our positive social impact in the community.

The congress was environmentally certified according to the Swedish Environmental Base Standard (“Svensk Miljöbas”). But we also encouraged the attendees to help us by acting sustainably on a personal level. Together we made this event both memorable and sustainable.
