Together to take action: Cities, towns and communities for everyone

Empowering members of the community to participate in decision making processes gives people ownership and an active role in the development of local environments. In this session world leaders, researchers and youth representatives will be part of an interactive conversation by presenting their perspectives and integrating different angles into a comprehensive and shared vision. There are many challenges, but even more opportunities if we work together. A series of panels will explore and discuss critical aspects of making our cities, towns and communities truly for everyone – be it through meaningful inclusion of our youth and underrepresented populations, to ensuring that our transition to our sustainable future is just and equitable for all, especially the most vulnerable.
