Driving global transformation and achieving sustainable development for all

Concluding three days of exchange, learning and discussion, this final plenary of the Malmö Summit will lay out the road map and next steps for local and regional governments in pursuing local sustainable development. Participants will be challenged to imagine the future that they wish to see for their own cities, towns or regions, and inspired to start taking the next concrete steps to realize that vision once they return home. High-level dialogues will present and discuss a number of new global partnerships which have been fostered to support the advancement of local sustainable development worldwide, as well as new initiatives that can support local and regional governments along their journey to realize the sustainable future for our cities, towns and regions.
