Sweden MEETX is the official provider of hotel rooms for the ICLEI World Congress 2021 – 2022: The Malmö Summit and a number of hotel rooms in different price categories have been earmarked in Malmö for the congress. Participants may book their room via the online booking service when registering for the Congress. All rooms include breakfast and free WiFi.

All prices are quoted in Swedish Kronor (SEK). The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid when the booking is submitted. Changes and/or cancellations have to be made directly to Sweden Meetx AB and not to the hotel.

Hotel Cancellations

From the time of reservation until 8 weeks before arrival, hotel reservations can be cancelled without additional charges. From 8 to 6 weeks before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged. From 6 to 4 weeks before arrival – 80% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged. Cancellation within 4 weeks before arrival will not be refunded. Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within this deadline is to be counted as cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations have to be made directly in written form to Sweden MEETX and not to the hotel. It is possible to transfer your booking to another person. Payment Methods

The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid by credit card or debit card, when the booking is submitted, (payment via invoice is only possible for Swedish delegates). All payments should be made in Swedish Crowns (SEK). All bank transfer charges in connection with transferring fees are to be paid by the visitor. No personal, company or Euro cheques will be accepted. Payment is done by credit card or debit card. Please note that all credit card or debit card payments are made through a secure and encrypted online payment gateway, and will be listed as a transaction with Sweden Meetx AB on your credit card or debit card statement. For Swedish organizations with a valid VAT number, payment via invoice is possible as a choice when making the booking.

VAT

Swedish tax legislation requires visitors to pay the hotel fee including Swedish VAT (12%) which may be reimbursed according to specific regulations in your country. If you are from a country in the EU area, please search for a refund of VAT at your tax office, in your home country.
